The Process
The thought of selling a business can be daunting. However, the OASIS Acquisitions Team is here to make this process as simple and considered as possible.
Below is a high-level overview of the key steps in selling your business. We are always pleased to spend time with business owners who are considering their options and talk them through the steps in detail.
Informal and confidential discussion, usually under a simple, mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
Sharing of information between the parties, this can be high level to enable OASIS to provide a broad valuation range (an indicative offer), or slightly more detailed to facilitate a reasonably accurate valuation (a Letter of Intent).
In the event that a business owner accepts the proposal, a sale process can commence – this entails due diligence, drafting and agreement of legal documents, and required approvals from the board of directors of both parties.
The sale completes. The OASIS Acquisitions Team will remain in close contact with exiting business owners to help with the transition and any other post-completion obligations.
OASIS’ Project Management Office will oversee the practical steps that ensure the careful transition of employees, clients and trusted partners to OASIS ownership.

Matt Thornton
Chief Development Officer
Matt joined OASIS in April 2020 after leading several acquisition and corporate development projects for Williams Medical (a DCC business). He also supported the exit of Livingbridge Private Equity in 2014.
Since joining OASIS Group, he has led over ten successful corporate development projects for the group across Europe. He holds a degree in Accounting from the University of Wales, Cardiff, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Natasha Rawley
Corporate Development Manager
Natasha joined OASIS after selling her family-owned business, Archive Document Data Storage, to OASIS in August 2019.
She has 20 years of experience in the Information Management industry. Natasha has served on several industry and trade association boards at an executive and non-executive director level; ARMA International as a European Board member and then European Region Director, and PRISM International (now iSIGMA) as Board Member, Director and European Task Group President.
Since joining the OASIS Acquisitions team, Natasha has been able to offer valuable and unique insight to business owners about the sale process and offer additional support from a seller’s perspective.

Katy Burke
Programme Manager
Katy joined OASIS in September 2020, having previously managed several high-level business transformation and acquisition projects for Iron Mountain, including the integration of Recall in 2016.
A qualified Prince2 practitioner, she heads up the Project Management Office within OASIS. Katy and her team support the Acquisitions team to ensure that all aspects of the acquired businesses are carefully and appropriately transitioned into OASIS. The Project Management Office lead integrations through the acquisition lifecycle, working closely across all teams from the start during due diligence through to handing over to our ‘business as usual’ teams.
